About Your Wedding Abroad

What do we do?

We do three things:

• Publish real prices. Our cost guides and calculator use prices that vendors publish on their own websites, checked and dated. How we check prices
• Answer the questions couples ask first. What things cost, what’s included, what the legal side involves and when to go.
• List local vendors for each part of the wedding, with the prices they publish. You choose who to contact, on their website or, for featured planners, on WhatsApp.

We start with Bali. Thailand, the Philippines, Mexico and Greece follow in 2027, each with its own prices.

How do we make money?

Not from couples.

• Couples never pay us for the guides, the calculator or the vendor list.
• Vendors list for free today. Later we may offer vendors paid options, such as extra visibility in search results, always clearly marked. We don’t take a commission on bookings.
• Vendors can’t pay to change the prices we publish. Every price in our guides comes from the vendor’s own published price list or a dated quote, whether or not they work with us.
• How the vendor list is ordered: in each category, vendors with a price within your budget come first, then vendors with a price above or below it, then vendors with no published price. Badges are free; nobody can pay for one, and we never say who recommended a vendor. What the badges mean.

Who writes the guides?

The Your Wedding Abroad editorial team. We don’t put a personality in front of the numbers; the prices, their dates and their sources are what you can check. Every guide shows when it was last updated and keeps a short log of what changed.

Do you check the vendors?

We check their published prices. We don’t yet check vendors in person, and we won’t claim to until we do. Before you book anyone, ask for references, get the price and inclusions in writing, and read the cancellation terms.

What happens to my details?

You contact vendors yourself; we don’t pass your details to them. If you save a plan, we keep it in your account. We don’t sell your details. Privacy

Use the “Report a price” form on How we check prices. We check every report against the vendor’s own published price and note any correction.
