Six Bali wedding colour palettes

  • Sunset terracotta: ivory, sand, terracotta, sage. Warm and earthy. Made for clifftop sunsets in Uluwatu.
  • Sage & sand: ivory, sand, sage, olive. Calm greens that sit quietly in the jungle and rice fields around Ubud.
  • Blush & ivory: ivory, blush, sand, mauve. Soft and romantic, for resort gardens and private villas.
  • Tropical brights: marigold, burnt orange, ocean teal, blush. Bold and happy, for beach ceremonies and lively receptions.
  • Ocean blues: ivory, dusty blue, ocean teal, sand. Cool blues that echo the sea at beach and clifftop venues.
  • Moody jewel: mauve, olive, charcoal, terracotta. Deep, rich tones for candlelit evening receptions.

Local flowers keep costs down

White frangipani, pink frangipani, orchid, bougainvillea, hibiscus, lotus, tuberose, heliconia and hydrangea grow in Bali, so florists can use them fresh. Roses and peonies are imported, so they cost more and can wilt in the heat.

Dressing for the heat

Bali is warm and humid most of the year. Light, breathable fabrics like chiffon, crepe and linen are the comfortable choice, and they pack well for the flight.
