Does it rain all day in the wet season?
Usually not. Wet-season rain in Bali tends to come as heavy showers rather than all-day rain, but you can’t plan around it. Whatever month you choose, make sure your venue has a covered space you’d be happy to use.
When is a Bali wedding cheapest?
In the wet season. One Bali planner’s 2026 budget guide quotes discounts of 20–30% in the wet season. Several venues also publish lower weekday prices, and some resorts add a high-season surcharge of about A$1,400–2,300 (IDR 17.5M–28.9M). Ask each vendor for prices in both seasons before you choose a date.

How far ahead should we book?
For the dry season, especially July and August, book your venue and photographer first, as early as you can. In the wet season you have more choice of dates. Wherever you land, get the deposit and cancellation terms in writing.
